Maria, Thanks so much for your great jackets & service, we have emigrated to Brunei so cannot simply let the cats out on their own & we have to ensure they are safe so your jackets are wonderful. We purchased 2 from a pet shop - what rubbish - if the cats backed in the other direction they escaped!

I have had 2 from you already but now also have 2 kittens so when I am back in the UK this month I will be ordering 2 more, well made & I feel happy my precious cat is safe when wearing it, will send photos as promised shortly, would recommend you to anyone Maria

just like to say how much i like the cat harness i purchaed from you. i put it on holly, my kitten, and she didn't make a fuss. i bought if for the spring/summer when she's a little older, as she is only 4 months old. to go into the garden as i live next to a main road and don't want her running on to it. the harness itself is of excellent quality and like i said she never bothered when i put it on her. i would recommend you to all my friends who have got cats.

Hello Maria........I want to take this time to thank you so very much for making this wonderful walking jacket for my cat....
I also want to comment to anyone that is checking this site and wondering if they shouild order.....If you truly love your cat, do not hessitate.....The outside brings so much joy to your cat...I highly recomend that you order one of these jackets for your pet......Maria takes special time with you to make sure you are getting the exact fit and also just what you want....I first wondered about ordering outside of the U.S........But this site converts your dollars prior to your order and lets you know exactly what the price will be......Don't worry about the growth of your cat....There is so much velcro that it will expand with your pet...I live in the United States...I also have been to every pet shop in the Philadelphia area....This is not to be found anywhere....The only thing I could find was made with just adjustable strings.....They are almost inpossible to put on your pet....The jackets that Maria makes has velcro that wraps around you pets neck and also velcro that wraps around under the cats front legs....This makes it comfortable and impossible for your pet to get away.....All this along with a lovely jacket that will make you and your cat very proud.....The quality is amazing....The pattern you choose is on the top and is lined with another fabric under the jacket.......The stitching is perfect it will be something you will be able to own for years to come.....
Ordering from another country and a stranger was also a concern to me....I recomend that you write to Maria and you will feel like you have a new friend forever.....All and any questions are answered immediately.......Once ordered, the walking jacket is made and mailed out to you...
I can't say enough about the kindness and patience of a woman that I have never met.......

Hi there Kjirsten,
thankyou so much for your kind comments. If you'd like to purchase your own fabric for themed jackets for a special occasion, that is quite okay. You will need approximately 1/2 metre each jacket and make sure its not stretchy and doesnt pull threads easily as the velcro would damage it - I find cotton fabrics work the best. Jackets work out cheaper if you supply your own top fabric of course too, if you are interested just get in touch.

Hi Maria, just a quick note to say how much Achilles and Hektor are enjoying their new jackets. They have had no problems wearing them, and leash walking is SO much easier now. They cause quite the sensation, trotting down the street with the dogs, lol. Before the jackets arrived, we would wheel the boys down to the local park in their pram, now they're so much calmer, we're able to walk them all the way from home and back. We've had many comments and enquiries from fellow cat lovers, and have passed your details on to them. I'm thinking of ordering a couple of "themed' jackets for special occasions......in particular, Easter and Halloween come to mind.....any suggestions?? We received our order for 2 of your cat walking jackets late last week & we've now trialled them for 3 days. These jackets are purrrfect - Coco loves them. At the first try on she lay on the floor, got up & then lay on the floor again & then we were off - didn't really hassle her at all. I love them as she's always had the harness with those tiny straps around the neck & belly & she'd do a houdini & pull herself tight & then just slip out of them. We're all really impressed & happy with our purchase. Coco is dark brown in colour & one jacket we got was the camouflage & it suits her wonderfully. We're about to start our travels around Australia & of course Coco is part of that adventure, I'll be taking your website address with me cause I bet I'll get a lot of enquiries while she's wearing her jacket. We've been looking for something like this for ages. If anyone out there is looking for something much better than the normal harness, this is the jacket to keep your cat by your side. Well I have had two jackets off you now, one for missie and one for merlin. At first they played dead but now as soon as I get the jacket out Merlin starts chatting away as he knows he is going out.

He feels safe in his jacket and so do I, thank you so very much I tell all my friends to look at your site.

Yes you can get similar jackets but not a patch on yours..............

Have had my cat jacket for about a week now. it fits. first time i put it on there was no fuss from the cat what so ever. but the other times i have tried not so easy. find it a bit hard to get it on tight enough(i think i put it on to tight aswell). probably just me and my cat. she sorta gets a bitt fussy when i try putting it on. It is much easyier to put on the jacket than my regualr harness. but when i sorta found away to get on the regular harness it wasnt too much of a problem. just gotta figure out the best way to get the jacket on. and make her stand still like the cat in the video where you show how to put it on. Anyways just wanted to say thanks for a great product

Marmalad's harness / jacket arrived today, it's a perfect fit with plenty of room for growth as she's only 16wks old, she didn't like it to start with but soon got used to wearing it, she even followed me around the garden wearing it plus with a lead attached.
It looks great on her, when she's more confident wearing it she'll meet the 2 kittens properly, hopefully with out to much swearing and wanting to attack them but I'll be in full control, so we'll see how it all goes, were in no rush.

Hi Maria,
Just to let you know i am pleased with my mogs jacket. It only took him 2 days to get used to it and is now out for walkies when nice weather, to see the world. My only minor criticisim is coulb be a bit longer, inch or 2 along the body, but otherwise very pleased, and mog is too, he runs to the door to go out when i call, so must like it.

Lovely jacket, well made, fits really well. I am pleased it is reversable. Ollie has worn it already today, his second jacket so I can wash his original one now. The velcro is very strong and I feel confident when I take Ollie out, that he will not do a Houdini act and escape. I was so pleased to finally find these lovely jackets - they are so comfortable too - my cats took to them straight away and ask to go outside in them. I had trouble with the old sort of harness with them escaping and poor fitting so now that's all a thing of the past! I couldn't believe how quickly they arrived too - in a couple of days - fabulous and the website is easy to use and ordering easy too - I will certainly be recommending them to all my friends!

Thank you so much for a fantastic product just what i`m looking for. The harness fits perfectly and have a lot of space for my Somali to grow in. She was a bit confused the first time i put it on because it`s wider and felt it a bit more compakt to the body than the ordynary harness i used. But after a few minutes she walk like an angle in it :) This new harness does not have the tendency to slide on her body it`s staying at the same position all the time.
With the ordynary harness she have to lift on her leg all the time to avoid the lead. But with this harness she only have to move her head left or right to avoid the lead. She`s running, climbing and walking with no problems. So in all this harness is PERFECT!

I just wanted to say thank you for the jacket I received a while back. The summer has been brilliant for little Benji as he has been able to go walking usually twice a day in his fabulous jacket. He hated the traditional type of harness and escaped several times - much to my horror. This time he hasn't tried to escape at all, and loves going out.

We love the walking jackets that we bought for our two cats! Our kitten absolutely loves going on walks already, though our two year old is not such a fan... she prefers concrete. ;) Unfortunatly, she did get out of her jacket going crazy and jumping/twisting around in the air on her first walk, and thankfully just ran straight back to the house. She was just over her walk! We will make sure to put it on more securely in the future.

LOVE IT! I was so excited to get the Mynwood Cat Jacket! It is just the best and yes it is escape proof as Mr. Tibs did try and could not do it he has extra toes on all his paws and thought it woulfd be easy,,ha,..so now he is content to just meander with me. I will say he had such a great time wearing it the first day that he got it very dirty playing in the yard!

All I can say is AMAZING!!! Our little Mrs. Beasley (aka Houdini) absolutely LOVES her jacket, she instantly starts to purr as we put it on her as if she knows its time to play outside. I'm so happy this has worked for her because literally every other harness we have tried she has "backed out" of. She feels very confident in it, and it has actually helped to sooth her on a very long road trip/move. We cant thank you enough for a fantastic product!

Hi Maria, received the new jacket yesterday and couldn't wait to try it but had guests in the house. Tried it this morning and Marlowe took to it instantly! He didn't even mind me adjusting the strap around his belly, which is usually a cause for squirming with his old harness.

Jacket is beautifully sized and made, and I took loads of shots with my iphone which I'll email you later after I'm home from work. I've already posted shots to Facebook of him in the harness, and had inquiries so I linked to your website from there. A friend just got 2 new Bengal kittens and will definitely need some of these!

Just received the jacket today. Absolutely love it. Found the usual harnesses too easy for my cat to wriggle out of but this harness is so secure. No problems putting it on and my cat took to it straight away. I don't even think he realised he was wearing anything he seemed so comfortable and was able to run, play and roll over in it as usual. Really excellent quality and so reasonably priced. Best item I have ever bought for my cat. I can't praise it highly enough. I think you could even charge a bit more as it's such good quality. Hello! Jacket arrived in record time. Beautifully made and fits purrrrrfectly. Paddington looks beautiful in it. it didnt take him very long at all to get used to it and we can now walk without fear of the harness slipping off!!! Will be ordering another one soon for his sister.

Thanks so much for making and sending Pitch's new cat jacket so quickly. As we expected he's objecting to it - just like he did to the harness last summer. But he loves to be outside with us and I'm sure all will be fine. This jacket is much more secure for him, and makes us feel better about taking him out. Can't wait for good weather to take him out. We are putting the jacket on him every evening to get him used to it. He keeps playing 'paralysed cat', but when he thinks we aren't looking he stands up and runs to another location. He's so funny! Have just received the two beautifully made cat jackets. My two ocicats were both lead trained but one especially was constantly escaping from the H-harness. No problems there any more! I opened the parcel and put them straight on and, apart from the initial scare from opening the velcro, they had no problems at all and seemed very comfortable and unperturbed by the jackets. The D-ring works much better than the H-harness as it moves around over the top of their back as they walk in a circle or dart in and out. They are easy to see in the bushes too! Very happy

Nice Jacket - what a dapper gent Travis looks in his new coat. He will be so pleased he can go outside again. It's no fun keeping an ally cat indoors - especially when they are unwell. But now he is on the way to a mend, and ours for the looking after, his adventures have just begun.

Thank you so much for Molly's jacket which arrived very quickly, it is fantastic quality and it is evident from the outset that your walking jackets are so much better and more comfortable than the usual harnesses you find in shops. We have started Molly off with a five minute per day session of wearing her jacket, and all is going really well......on day one, Molly did not react with the circus act we were anticipating although she decided she'd rather just not move at all. Day two onwards she seems absolutely fine and pefectly happy in her jacket. We now need to continue with her daily jacket sessions until we can progress to adding a lead and moving her daily going out sessions to just going out with us (though she has always seemed to prefer if we are out in the garden with her anyway, so hopefully that will go smoothly with the right patience and gentle weaning). I've emailed you some pictures of Molly taken today (which is day 3 for her wearing the jacket) so you can see just how comfortable she is in it. Thanks so much for the cat jacket. Fantastic quality and speedy arrival.

Our 5 months kitten wore it at home at first, and he did a funny walk ,like a marching soldier, and walking in reverse but only a little bit.
When we took him outside,and I think because he lived outdoors before by himself-was homeless for a short time, he got really excited to be outdoors and asked to put him down and had a walk from the first time.
Only occasionally he would do reverse walk but otherwise he was too excited to notice the lead and the jacket. He was so happy.Its a whole new life now for him-freedom to be outdoors and safety at the same time. Thank you so much.
He is already asking to go outside again tonight, but we'll wait till tomorrow .

Hi we got your walking jacket you made for us! It fits Kilala very well. I'm still trying to get her used to it. She will forget she is wearing it if she is chaseing a toy or eating a treat LOL! The color of fabric goes so good with her fur colors. The one side that is reflective will be a great help when outside on a nice warm night. My Fiance' and I can not wait till she is totally trained so we can take her camping in a few months from now. We have just received our jackets and very happy!! They are beautifully made, easy to put on and fit nicely. We are going to Scotland on Saturday and will be trying them for the first time.

We have just grown out of our kitten jackets and have ordered four new big boy jackets.
For any humans that are trying to decide whether your lovely kitties will like the jackets, please be assured they will. You will need to put in some time and effort to get your little ones used to them, but keep at it! We didn't like them at first and we thought that our legs had stopped working!! We rolled around and flopped side-ways. Our humans kept trying, just a few minutes each day with lots of treats and in no time we were running around the house in them. Once we were happy wearing them, our leads were added and finally we got taken outside. We now get really excited when we see our jackets and we sit purring while our humans put them on us!

Jonty's very smart red plaid jacket arrived safely today, his second one from you. Like the first one, it fits him perfectly, and the large D-ring for the lead fitting is good.

Jonty is an active two year old brown bengaI, and I take him out for walks two or even three times a day. When he steps out with his tail up like a little banner, he looks very smart and cute, and we meet and chat to many people on our walks.

Hi Maria, My name is Mouflon, my mum ordered me one of your lovely jackets so that when i'm a bit older I can wear it when I go on holiday, the very stylish blue paw print and red tartan goes beautifully with my black fur. I'm still getting used to it, wearing it for short periods each day, still staggering around as if I'm drunk though, my humans and doggy friend laugh at me! Its a very comfy jacket and I like running up and down the stairs in it.

We bought a cat jacket from you about a month ago. Our cat Digby loves it. He was injured earlier this year so we have decided it would be safer for him to be an indoor cat however we were conscious that he still does like to nip outside. This jacket has enabled him to do this safely with us and he really enjoys it. Now everytime we get the jacket out he purrs and he can't wait for it to be put on.

Thanks so much for the lovely chocolate cat jacket you made for Bo. Now with two of the cats having their own jackets I can walk them out together - enjoyable for all concerned. They did have a scare and opted to run for cover in different directions but the jackets are so very secure that I had no problem dragging Bo a couple of steps in the right direction to get her back with Charlie. After that there was no problem and we had a good hour's walk together. Now they are contentedly lying in their favourite indoor sunny spot with smiles on their faces.

Really appreciate the work that you've put in to designing such great jackets. Life for my cats without them would be very boring indeed.

Charlie is our lovable three legged thug of a moggy who had learnt the art of "back up and wriggle" to escape a normal cat harness. This Houdini routine has caused us more than a few grey hairs. Thought we'd give the walking jacket a try and am soooo glad we did. He took to it no trouble in the house so took him in the garden for a stroll. He tried the back up trick and the jacket stayed firmly in place! Not only that but when I gently tugged on the lead to get him to go where I wanted, it didn't throw him off balance as the regular cat harness does - probably because the lead attaching loop is sensibly located - this is significant with him only having three legs.
Great design and fab product which we'll recommend to other cat owners.

We ordered a jacket from Maria on the recommendation of a local Bengal owner. We hope to register Georgie as a Pets As Therapy (PAT) cat and need a harness to take her into hospitals, homes etc. The jacket arrived first class post within 2 days of placing the order. Unfortunately Georgie is a very small cat (a British Shorthair) and the neck strap was too wide. I called Maria and e mailed her some photos. She replaced the jacket immediately and Georgie is now getting used to wearing it (we put it on for short periods each day). You can see Georgie on the payments page and on the cat's walk wearing her new baby pink jacket.

Gizmo is going on her holidays soon, she is staying with my mum for a month. Whilst Gizmo does go outside when she is at home, the risk is to great for her to wander around whilst she is on her holidays as there is a busy main road next to the house. The only other option was for me to put her into a cattery for the month. Catteries are great but not as great as staying with someone they know already but as I said above the risk is too much until.... I came across Mynwood Cat jackets website. I promptly ordered Gizmo her jacket and it arrived within 2 days. Fantastic service !! Excellent product !! Maria is brilliant, she is so helpful, when I phoned her to ask for a bit of advice, we chatted and I could hear the passion for her product and her cats in her voice. Gizmo can now go on her holidays and enjoy the outside life that she is used to whilst staying safe on a lead attached to a hand made jacket that is 100% more secure and comfortable than the traditional harness that you can buy in pet shops.

Hi, I just wanted to say a big "thank you" for Pumpkins Jacket. My husband and I live in the heart of London and decdied to give the jacket a go to enable our Pumpkin to safely see some of the outdoors. What a success!! The jacket fits him so snug, he loves having it on and there is no way he can wriggle out of it. I'm about to order 2 more, a boy has to look his best! Thank you so much for sending me my jacket. Two of my girls have tried it but I've still yet to catch my bengal Freya for her to try it on. They need to get used to it before they go out but it was SO easy to put on, not like the shop bought harnesses, no messing trying to find the catch and struggling to get them to catch.

I would highly recommend these jackets to anybody who has a cat that is an indoor one that needs some fresh air and to see the outside world safely.

The choice of material is fantastic, I found ordering to be so easy and such a fast turnround from ordering. Because I am currently sharing this jacket between 3 cats Maria put a little extra velcro on so that it would fit my slightly smaller cat.

If anybody is currently thinking about getting one of these jackets and thinks, it's expensive, I'll go for the standard harness DON'T you'll not regret getting one of these Jackets and your cat will feel much more comfortable wearing it.

I received a caramel suede for Sakura AND the Leopard Velour for Apollo today and had to put them on right away. I need to send you photos of both cats and I am off to do an update on Bengal Cat Forums. Both jackets fit perfectly! I could not be happier.

Thanks so much for putting my Babies pics on page 8 of your guestbook, too cool :-) My Bengal Boys and I LOVE these jackets and even though they are only 4 1/2 months old as you know I already have 4 of them and am very keen to get a couple of combat ones next :-) I think the residents in NorthHaven Hospital are going to get a real kick out of seeing these precious wee Boys in their jackets :-)

Sakura has worn her jacket a couple of more times now and gets more used to it all the time. Shortly I will be taking her on a trip to Petsmart and I am really happy she has her jacket. To put her in her stroller I have to transfer her from the carrier to the stroller on the car park, I feel a lot better she will have her sturdy jacket on so that I can keep a firm hold on her. I can't wait to get her caramel suede.
